Can you support someone in crisis?

Stockton Citizens Advice Bureau are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help and support people in crises through their new Help Through Crisis (HTC) project.

The project is an opportunity to work with people in welfare crisis on a long-term supportive basis to move them from welfare crises to a stable future.

 We are looking for volunteers to take on various roles including:-

  • WELFARE ADVISERS Providing advice and assistance to alleviate crises
  • ADVOCATES to support clients to access and attend services to help improve their situation
  • PROMOTERS to promote the project within the local community to better reach those who need help

In return for your commitment and dedication, Stockton and District Advice and Information Service will provide:-

  • Free, comprehensive training

  • On-going support and supervision

  • A supportive working environment

  • The chance to make a real difference
